BIOGRAPHY
Cherry Topping is an independent electronic music artist and producer from Glasgow, Scotland. Born in 1997, and raised on the 90s to early 2000s electronic scene, she discovered her love for music at a young age. Having came across LimeWire on her first laptop, she spent hours as a child burning her own homemade CDs, creating her own trance playlists while sparking her fascination for electronic dance music.
During her teenage years, she spent a lot of time attending music events immersing herself in the energy of live sets of her favourite artists, sparking that creative itch within her that would only deepen her curiosity to want to create her own music.
After years of questioning wither to pursue her passion, she decided to quit her full time career and return to education in 2022, gaining the knowledge and technical skills in which she needed to pursue herself as as artist and producer.
Cherry made her debut EP "Sweet Escape" in 2025, gaining listeners worldwide and marking a major step in her journey as an independent artist and producer.
Beyond the studio, Cherry has travelled around the world, collecting experiences and perspectives that give her creative processes purpose and stories that find their way into her music. Her work is driven by curiosity and a deep connection to the culture that first inspired her, creating something that feels both familiar and entirely her own.
Cherry Topping continues to evolve, driven by the same curiosity and passion that first led her to burn CDs in her childhood bedroom. She aims to inspire others on a deeper level, exploring their own creativity and find their place within her music, in whatever way feels true to themselves.
